After a few refusals, I decided to adapt and began arranging "paid hookups." I set a routine where I'd work during week and meet clients on weekends or even evenings after work. I once met a guy who ked me while he was "ostensibly" attending a virtual meeting, working from home. The extra income was substantial, and within six months, I no longer needed the additional work. Now, I'm looking to quit and find a steady, meaningful relationship. However, I find myself drawn back to the thrill and dopamine rush of this lifestyle.
