Do you still worship actor/politician if he misbehaves with your family members?

In the Telugu states, there is a community that worships their actor-turned-politician like no other. Many actresses, including side characters like Jayalalitha, have complained about him, yet these buffoons still hold rallies for him and even get slapped sometimes. 

 

Would they still worship him if he did the same to their families?
