Just understand land is not limited in USA..if prices go up in a region, real estate developers keep exxpanding the housing inventory.. People will not buy old houses when they get priced equal to new houses. It's a game. Don't compare real estate in India and USA and keep thinking prices will go up in future. Pandemic times were anomalies. Leave the pandemic and compares homes from 2008 to 2019, you will get your answer. Quote

Alientech321 Posted October 26, 2024 Report Posted October 26, 2024 Once housing prices have risen, only a severe recession can bring them down significantly. A house is a place where people live and is considered a real asset. It's typically the last thing people will try to liquidate. Before predicting a crash in housing prices, it's important to consider whether there's an ongoing or impending recession. People claiming that AI will replace jobs are mistaken; it still requires human intervention. In fact, more jobs are being created to manage AI. Some People has been bearish on the housing market for a long time, even as housing prices have risen by 50%. Listening to their opinion is akin to taking advice from someone who has never made any investments. Never take advice from someone who never dipped a toe in it. I am just a market Observer. Quote
Telugodura456 Posted October 26, 2024 Report Posted October 26, 2024 House prices wont go down. It is too disruptive., It will reduce income for municipalities, townships, schools etc. Govt wont allow. Future growth in prices may reduce allowing wage increases to catch up - hopefully. Quote
