అమెరికా పర్యటనలో ఉన్న నారా లోకేష్ టెస్లా కేంద్ర కార్యాలయంలో సిఎఫ్ఓ వైభవ్ తనేజాతో సమావేశం అయ్యారు. 2029 నాటికి ఏపీలో 72 గిగావాట్ల రెన్యువబుల్ ఎనర్జీ ఉత్పత్తి సాధించాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నామని లక్ష్యసాధనకు టెస్లా వంటి అగ్రశ్రేణి గ్లోబల్ కంపెనీల సహాయ, సహకారాలు అవసరమని లోకేష్ ప్రజెంటేషన్ ఇచ్చారు. కియా, హీరో మోటార్స్ వంటి కంపెనీలు రాష్ట్రంలో విజయవంతంగా ఉత్పత్తి చేస్తున్నాయని గుర్తు చశారు. 

ప్రస్తుత ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ సీఎం ఎలక్ట్రికల్ వెహికల్స్ తయారీ, రెన్యువబుల్ ఎనర్జీ, గ్రీన్ ఎనర్జీ రంగాలపై ఆయన దృష్టిసారించారని.. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని అనంతపురం జిల్లా టెస్లా EV తయారీ, బ్యాటరీ ఉత్పత్తుల యూనిట్ల ఏర్పాటుకు వ్యూహాత్మక ప్రదేశంగా ఉంటుందని లోకేష్ వివరించారు. పరిశ్రమలకు అనుకూలమైన సులభతరమైన విధానాలు ఎపిలో అమలు చేస్తున్నామని.. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా సౌరశక్తి నిల్వ వ్యవస్థలు, ముఖ్యంగా స్మార్ట్ సిటీలు, గ్రామీణ విద్యుదీకరణకు సౌర ఫలకాలను అమర్చడంలో భాగస్వామ్యం కావాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ గ్రీన్ ఎనర్జీ ఆశయాలకు అనుగుణంగా రెన్యువబుల్ ఎనర్జీపై దృష్టిసారిస్తే సంపూర్ణ సహకారం అందిస్తామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు. రాబోయే డేటా సెంటర్, ఐటి హబ్‌లకు వినూత్న బ్యాటరీ పవర్ స్టోరేజి పరిష్కారాలు అవసరమన్నారు. టెస్లా ఏపీకి వస్తే వస్తే ఈ రంగంలో కీలకపాత్ర వహించే అవకాశం ఉంటుందని.. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్త EV ఛార్జింగ్ నెట్‌వర్క్‌ను అభివృద్ధి చేయడం, సూపర్‌చార్జింగ్ టెక్నాలజీ అమలులో భాగస్వామ్యం వహించే అవకాశం లభిసతుందని తెలిపారు. అలాగే ఆర్ అండ్ డి, ఇన్నోవేషన్‌లో భాగంగా టెక్నాలజీ పార్కులను ఏర్పాటు చేసే అంశాలనూ పరిశీలించాలని లోకేష్ కోరారు.

Electric cars if any are more polluting than ICE.

1. If the power coming to charge your batteries comes from burning coal, how is it preventing pollution?

2. He do you think Lithium ion batteries are made? Doesn't excavating lithium require conventional power, like diesel engines? How do you ship it and transport it? 

3. How do you recycle Lithium ion batteries? The heavy metal pollution has far worst effects from public health perspective.
