This is ongoing for a long time. This was what happened last time too. Even this time, in the last 30 days or so I was asked at least 3 times twice at Walmart and once at BJs in Upstate NY if I was enrolled to vote and was told that all I need is my driver's license to do so

Indian election system is more robust and perfect compared to US.
