companies cannot file for PERM if they have fired people in the last 6 months

I read, they intentionally firing people in this year end months (like Dropbox, Karken) as they can write off on taxes for some expenses like severance and other in FY 24 ani LinkedIn lo someone posted. Maybe true, as I have seen tech layoffs spiked since past few weeks.

Another reason is companies are able to find GC, Citizens itself easily. Asalu okka posting veste on site aiyte 50-60 resumes vastunayi and remote aiyte 300-500 resumes ani maa company recruiter cheppadu. If they cannot find the right person for 3-4 months then they start thinking abt sponsorship but they are able to find easily for IT positions ani cheppadu. This is not for high level AI, Chip Design stuff as they will sponsor for those positions but regular IT Architecture Data Coding aiyte they can find talent easily.
