India currently puts 200% tariffs on all US manufactured vehicles, electronics etc. So US should put 200% tariffs on all US imports of IT services from India Centers. Make US Corporations responsible to provide audit of billings done to India centers mandatory and add 200% tariffs on all those IT services from India. 

This way all US companeis start hiring more NRIs here in US so that those US companies whoever paid 200% tariffs can reclaim back those tariff amount paid.

win win situation right. US manufacturing will flourish. US jobs numbers will grow. All NRIs can live without job insecurity.

how many nri's work in manufacturing? what electronics does usa make? .

I think measuring is tough now a days every almost every  tech company in the valley has center in Bangalore. Hyderabad how can we measure for example Salesforce when they sell to b2b how to quantify it's a mix kada therr are people from both countries how they contributed,  if they try to gelkify this system good luck for them

US business impacted with India Tariffs = 10 Billion Dollars per annum.

IT services export to US from India  = more than 50billion Dollar per annum.

Not really. every company submits tax compliance reports to tax authorities every month category wise. It includes amounts and vendors/customers with EIN that transaction happened. More every vendor payments are recorded and claimed for tax as business operating expenses by US Companies. so it is easy to target those IT services from India.

Nicely skimmed article by just taking 4 companies and attributing to remaining 2000 companies who quit India... FORD, GM could not make impression in Indian markets due to their Sales tactics and the business model it is their own fault. despite state GOVT's allotting Land for them and providing work force at cheaper costs compared to other Local brands... There are thousands of reasons for the failure of these 2 companies..
