get your office and accounts setup.. get a pc with outlook and other communication devices install..
get all the documents related to your work.
get a roughf demo of the feature you willl be working on..
if you have enoughf time get your hands on it and try to understand it...

note:- write down on papaer what ever the info you get /hear..
