trendzman Posted November 18, 2024 Report Posted November 18, 2024 Friends.Need a suggestion. Is it a good option to buy a tesla with 0% apr to wait till december to see if i get a better price? right now i get to order a new one with 0% apr for 41K. Some forums are saying due to the new model getting released sooner, the prices will go low on the current model. naaku urgency em ledu, have my sedan and looking for a second car for daily commute and todo's with kids. But at the same time i dont want to get the new model juniper, as it will be pricey and will have lot of defects initially. let me know your thoughts. Quote

Car is a liability and its alwways better to wait if you don't have an urgency. I don't think you want to miss out on Juniper. After it comes out, there should be greater discounts on current model. You can chose better. 1 3 Quote

If more people buy at these prices, there is no need to give further discounts towards the end of the year. If everyone decides to wait, there will be additional discounts. You will have to decide it for yourself. Quote

Firstly i am thinking it will be costlier and since its a brand new model, i am assuming it will have lot of bugs.( I might be wrong as i have limited knowledge in EV's). On top of it, i saw a news that they are getting rid of 7500 EV tax credit. Quote

Model Y is the best car to have.I bought mine 4 months back and enjoying it. Advantages now: $7500 tax credit( this may be gone in the future as Trump and Musk wanted to take away incentives) 0%apr $500 referral bonus 3 months supercharging and FSD free You never know if they will increase or decrease the prices, if it comes in ur budget, I recommend to take it. As u said we never know when juniper will hit the market and we never know the price point and if it will have all the incentives mentioned above. 1 1 Quote
