That is all their imagination and build up .. may be few votes where there is considerable telugu population is there.. but it is ridiculous to attribute any election victory to a movie star campaigning there.. looks like BJP already had something positive going there.. 

movie stars ki janaalu chuddaniki vastaru.. they don’t necessarily vote for them.. it was proved several times

PK got lot of sympathy in AP polls in the north coastal belt bcoz he lost badly in the last elections, the way he was ragged by ycp, mudragada and also caste factor.. they wanted to give him a chance.. both main parties like TDP and YCP has 40% vote share.. remaining 20% is what decides the outcome..
