TANA endi, almost every telugu/regional organization did the same thing to raise money. Company matching contributions to non profits ani cheppi grants, sometimes these donations ran into sux figures.

In this case, some treasurer at TANa allegedly withdrew money from TANA to their LLC

Looks like this happened between 2021-23 in the previous committee where this guy was a treasurer… they caught him now either as part of some audit after the association changed hands (like Jagan did for CBN and vice versa when govt changes)

I think he should have transferred it to overseas account...millions more were sent there in the name of flood victims help , donations to build amaravati ( yes ) etc.. rookie mistake 😀

Who the hell will donate to NATA except their own members? In all these years, I didn’t hear a single person saying that.. antha employers and business people money.. let them waste it..

Regarding TANA helping to send bodies seen firsthand.

A telugu guy died in an accident, his collegues and friends took care of all the formalities and embassy related clearances, passport cancellation to hand over body to funeral home which sends to india.

Now came the TANA regional coordinator, what he did was talk to local MLA, their family as if they are helping. Next day in TV9 the news was embassy adhikarulatho matladina MLA and TANA effort tho india ke ranunna body ani.

May be they help some but in most cases what they tell is not the same as reality.

Basically dead body repatriation ki velku chesedi emi ledu, publicity thappa….basically these TANA guys just coordinate. Eventually Indian embassy and funeral home works towards the paper work and transportation and for most of the cases, Indian embassy partly pays for the charges.

Most of the people do not know what happens and how to aporoach, ilanti case la TANa batch enter ayi antha meme chesesam, motham meme chusesam ani build up dobbutaru anthe…
