just looked up on wiki Rohan played 117 first class and with an batting avg of 44 so he had some skill, ofcourse we can say he got that chances due his father's clout ani cheppochu, then he played for national team that too 11 matches so mana meeda ruddale so we can cut some slack citing Rohan Gavaskar as example.
