No straight answer.... If movie is made for IMAX ( very very few) then IMAX. 

If you meant dolby vision, then dolby is great- recliners with sub woofer sound for each seat , pitch blacks , sharp visuals , or course great sound.

IMAX is next...

To be honest, I don't know what those formats are for theaters....I know what they are, but around me I only see IMAX, IMAX laser ( as opposed to old style projection), dolby vision ( it's HDR also) and regal 4dx ( hate it to the core )
