Still, he is respected for his talent for his movies till 2010.  

His name is set in stone as the person who redefined Indian cinema... accept or not. 

He is guru of almost all current generation directors.

Really who don't understand or accept this haven't watched movies or ignorant.

People don't care or hate him now, but I don't know any director who has range of critically acclaimed movies that he has .... different genres, path breaking movies.
