Buy thick hoodie from Costco. You get deals on those. Then buy a thick trench coat. Wear it on hoodie. Dressing in layers is what helps you keep warm.

Costco, Sams and Burlington for even cheaper budget

quality wise from my experience even the cheapest ones last a long long time here

I have jackets still good after 10+ years, of course usage is less for older ones and they are only used in-home but they are in such good condition that I can even go out with out worrying about how they look, quality here is too good for most winter wear
