Bought 300sq.yards for 27k/sq.yard in 2020. Now the value is 40k/sq.yard.

Initial investment: Rs. 81lakhs ($112500)

Current value: Rs. 1.2crore ($141674)

Total gain in ruppees: 50%

Total gain at current dollar value: 25%
 

To bring back money to usa in white another 10-15% tax and lot of hassle. Chivariki miglindhi initial investment.

In the same period S&P500 gave 90% returns.

So dont invest in india if you want to settle in vomerica.

India RE investment is a long term strategy, never meant for someone thinking for short term. I've invested 3 crores thus far. No regret as I will move to India in say about 5-6 years. 

You have to understand India is probably few of the countries where Capital gains are in black so less tax, then you don't have as much property taxes combined with cheap labour is a easier place to live if you know how to use right leverages.

fnd brought 4 apartments of 20 lakhs downpayment (each 1 cr) i.e. 80 lakhs in 2020

In 2024 each apartment value is 2 cr

 

Gain = 4 cr

I will probably have a kid and pack off 😂.

US lo raising a kid will mellow them down and make them meek. I suspect, if I have a son  and raise him here he if will ever indulge  in school or college fights just as I did growing up.

S&P500 90% up in last 4yrs is inflated. realistic ga expect 30% raise in 4yrs from S&P500.
