Selling Car Through Carvana

Folks,

 

Did anybody sell car through Carvana? How smooth is the process?

I had a great experience and infact they gave better price than KBB. They came home and picked up the car and also got the forms filled up for owner change all within an hour.

They were good. Pricing was better than what many dealerships offered…

On the hand over date, they came to my location, picked up the car and completed the paper work and deposited money in two days. This was about two years back.

 Very very easy

 

Keep vehicle docs ready

 

Upload after providing vehicle info

 

Theyll Ask you to send screenshots of dash to validate the mileage you entered

 

Then either you can go drop off in their location or someone from caravan will come and take the car after completing due process

 

Above takes 10 min

 

They will transfer amount to your bank or issue check based on what you choose

 

I sold my Toyota corolla

 

They gave very competitive price for an 8 year old corolla

Thanks bro...Any capital gain from the car sale...did you need to report it, even if you are using it to put down for a new car in a seperate transaction.

I recently sold to CarMax and it was 2.5k higher than carvana. Their quote is good for one week and they really don’t care if you have small dents or scratches

if there’s no difference in quotes from multiple sources, make sure you sell to the one if you’re planning to buy another car from so you save tax on the new purchase

they are good bro just in case if you are planning to buy tesla , tesla trade in is beating both carmax and carvana if you are not buying tesla go with carvana or carmax
