kevinUsa Posted December 5, 2024 Author Report Posted December 5, 2024 There are numerous victims of the practices carried out by insurance companies, leading to widespread anger among those who have lost loved ones due to corporate malpractice. 1 Quote
Moon_Walker Posted December 5, 2024 Report Posted December 5, 2024 Basically greedy corporate elite scum feeding on the poor and showing profits to stock holders and walking away with a hefty pay package year after year. So much for the US of A and its greatness. 1 Quote

Most soda sales happen in gas stations or similar stores, which are frequented by people with limited financial means. If you're poor, the system seems designed to keep you that way, hindering your ability to grow financially. Here's a simple example: If you buy a pair of shoes for $120, they last three years. But if you buy a $50 pair, they only last a year. Over three years, you end up spending $150 instead of $120. The reason you didn't buy the $120 shoes in the first place? You couldn't afford them. This creates a cycle of constant spending that’s hard to escape. this is my personal example, 1 3 Quote

The reason?... She went to physical therapy for a few months and her walking improved slightly, therefore she clearly doesn't need medication. Meanwhile, in the time since they denied her medication, not only has her walking regressed to where it was before PT, but now it's gotten significantly worse to the point that she needs a scooter for basic daily tasks. I don't condone violence against these CEOs, but I understand it. 1 1 Quote
Assam_Bhayya Posted December 5, 2024 Report Posted December 5, 2024 Charles ponzi was arrested for a scheme, that scheme is now legalized by renaming it as "Insurance". While the Ponzi scheme was voluntary, and only those greedy can join at their will, the latest version "Insurance" is "Mandatory" that too as per "Law". Quote

Detective: If we only look at disgruntled employees, laid-off employees, and disgruntled clients, that narrows it down to about....half of America. Chief: It's gonna be a long night again. What insurance does our precinct use? Detective: That's just adding names to an already long list, chief. (Casually cleans gun.) 3 Quote

summer27 Posted December 5, 2024 Report Posted December 5, 2024 As a diabetic who used to have their insurance through United I’ll admit my sympathy is considerably less than it should be. Your sympathy has been denied as it is not deemed medically necessary. Have a nice day. -United, probably Quote
summer27 Posted December 5, 2024 Report Posted December 5, 2024 You don't get to be the CEO of a rotten-to-the-core business like health insurance by not being rotten to the core yourself. While I never condone violence, I will read this particular obituary with abject indifference and the stark sense that what goes around does occasionally come around. ¯\(ツ)/¯ 1 1 Quote
