Indian railways hydrogen train a dumb idea

Indian railway has all electric train engines which is much cheaper and greener.

Hydrogen Train Engine: Using electricity hydrogen is produced which is filled in train tanks. Hydrogen is used to generate electricity to run the traction motors.

Current Train Engine: Using current pulled through overhead pantograph same traction motors operates.

Hydrogen cars and trains adoption is dumb

Hydrogen fuel cells are very expensive currently ,most tracks have already been electrified ,i don't really see why they would do that.

 

Using electrolysis and using that hydrogen is much less efficient than just using electric engines lol.
