This is speculation, if me and my peer(man or woman) don't get equal salary is that proof of bias? Many things go into it. Corporations don't like paying you more doesn't matter man or woman.

in my organization a lot of women get paid more than men for the same level and same kind of job. Especially desi mgrs, ammayi anagane (Especially decent looking) inka positive bias untadi.

obviously more guys in pool, so more of them go to next level. 40 guys lo atleast 20 guys work more than 10 hours consistantly. out of 10 women ... 1 does it.  

There is no bias ... the pay gap is because on avg men are working more hours. If you calculate hourly and account for all the benefits (like sick days, short term disability, etc) ... for same job i think women will be on par or more than men.

at my place ... Entry level salary is fixed irrespecitive of women or men ... for the most part.

for experienced ... there is a range and most of them are in the range. based on market demand and niche skill, people make in higher end of the range

DEI is mostly favorable to women in cases of promotions and layoffs. they strongly encourage not to release women unless they are poor performers, this is to maintain the gender pool.

there is no BIAS for pay between men and women. The difference in pay is because Men has bigger pool and have niche skill, working more hours or ready to take risk and jump jobs and demand more $.

There is NO inherent bias.

historically high skilled Immigrants are cheaper than similar skilled locals, hence the H1Bs and all. If women are cheaper than men ... every corporation would be hiring more women. its just market dynamics.

Read properly.. I said, in knowledge based work.. not physically hard work..
