I am not exactly sure if there was malafide intent behind arresting Bunny - but personally speaking it felt in the last few days/weeks - Bunny's behavior has changed - I think Pushpa character baaga vantabattindo ento kaani - there was an air of over confidence - he probably felt he was untouchable given his pan India status. I mean imagine one day you are flying high over clouds and by evening you literally had to sleep on the floor in a jail cell/holding cell with two other under trials without any extra comforts.

Chaala mandi ki paapam aavida chanipoyina taruvatha - Bunny reaction did not seem genuine. He may not be directly responsible for her death - but certainly his presence precipitated the events leading to this extremely tragic death.
