కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ కురువృద్ధుడు, మాజీ ప్రధాని మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ మృతి పట్ల లోక్ సభలో విపక్ష నేత, కాంగ్రెస్ ఎంపీ రాహుల్ గాంధీ స్పందించారు. మన్మోహన్ మృతితో తాను ఒక గురువును, మార్గదర్శిని కోల్పోయానంటూ తీవ్ర విచారం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ఈ విషాద సమయంలో మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ అర్ధాంగికి, ఇతర కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు ప్రగాఢ సంతాపం తెలియజేసుకుంటున్నానని రాహుల్ గాంధీ ట్వీట్ చేశారు.  

మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ ప్రధానిగా దేశాన్ని విశేష పరిజ్ఞానం, సమగ్రతతో నడిపించారని కొనియాడారు. ఆయన మృదు స్వభావం, ఆర్థికశాస్త్రంపై ఆయన లోతైన అవగాహన జాతికి స్ఫూర్తినిచ్చాయని పేర్కొన్నారు. కోట్లాది మంది అభిమానులు ఆయనను అత్యంత గర్వంగా గుర్తుంచుకుంటారని తెలిపారు.

కాగా, మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ ఆరోగ్య పరిస్థితి విషమం అని తెలియగానే కాంగ్రెస్ అగ్రనేత ప్రియాంక గాంధీ హుటాహుటీన ఢిల్లీలోని ఎయిమ్స్ ఆసుపత్రి వద్దకు చేరుకున్నారు. మన్మోహన్ మృతి పట్ల ఆమె తీవ్ర విచారం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. సీనియర్ నేత మృతితో కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీలో విషాదం నెలకొంది.

Manmohan singh let state actors to enable 26/11 attacks. It's just as 9/11, a state planned attack on citizens. His government let the people with guns come in, and they also eliminated Hemant Karkare IPS because he knows the intimate secrets of Malegaon attacks.
