India doesn’t export much.. there is a huge gap between our imports and exports including our arms.. a country with such a huge gap cannot aspire to become a global power.. we don’t have any leverage except for exporting services and people..

Not very easy to do. Russia will be in in it for sure. China wont be. IF USD or USA economy collapses, they along with Rich Arab countries are the ones to lose with all their debt and investments there. India cant take on any sanctions if imposed on them.

BRICS is useless. If you can't create a common currency other than USD, and cannot have balances trade between these countries it's futile to talk about it. 

Trivia: US and Canada put together have highest natural resources, Farm land, Industrial prowess, fresh water and if Mexico is accounted then it surpasses all the BRIC block and EU. No competition.

That’s exactly the reason why a new coalition is needed. US’a authority is the reason for new blocks and remember, one country cannot be a super power for ever. There will be alternate power centers which may not be as strong as US led block but they will gain importance…

China and Communists can't be trusted. They want to take your land and resources. Communism as an ideology is NOT compatible with India. 

India needs to be self sufficient first and then do balanced trade. BRICS is a clusterfcuk. India should get back to gold standard just as Russia, prepare for exit of FDI, settle the debts and have a balanced trade with Russia and other countries.
