• Previous approval is not a guarantee for an extension. 
• visa validity as per contract timelines  
• Forget about removal of country cap for GC
• Visa lottery process might change 
• Frequent onsite visits by uscis 
• Undercurrent discrimination from officers at consulate and at POE
• Lastly, companies will hesitate a lot to hire a h1b over an American. All it needs is a tweet from whistle blower to blow up company reputation on Twitter. 

There is a lot of hatred towards Indians residing in Texas. Especially in Dallas area. Your chances of getting hired by a tech company in Dallas is going to be slim. Indians in Dallas area is a hot topic on X now. Please be careful.

I have a same feeling. However, Immigration is going to be a critical issue under the new administration. Trump is signing executive order for deportation of millions of illegals. It will only rile up the MAGA. It won’t just stop with illegals.
