It is not being coy - it is being practical. Going by your username you are probably in Canada. Here people carry guns and do not hesitate to use it. Indians - a very vast majority of them - do not own guns nor do they carry them around. 

 

A few years ago there was Indian guy who got shot to death in a bar/restaurant for getting into some kind of a pow-wow. I can engage in fisticuffs if I know my opponent is also going to stick to his hands - in America too many people have lost their lives not knowing when to de-escalate.

In this particular case - the dude should be able to make a complaint.

I've lived in Canada and US enough to know what I'm saying. Right now I'm driving back from Destin, FL.  I spend more time in Confederate states of Alabama and Florida than I what I've spent in Canada, both the states where guns  are very widely owned. 

American whites show great restraint in using guns. Most of the gun crime is related to gangs. Mass shootings are linked to "mental retardness" per MSM but has underpinnings of CIA, regardless of anyone else agreement.

The incidents like these need to be confronted. If it's fist fight you get in, you may get injured but it's ok. So long as Indians get back and fight these, they won't repeat. Telugus in general are meek when it comes to retaliation. Punjabis faced worst in Canada in early days (not talking of Khalistanis)but they took it to street fights, perhaps their martial instincts kicked in and Canadian bullies were tamed. Strength respects strength, it's universal.

That is the key here.  You never know what kind of a day an individual is having especially if they are armed with a gun. More often than not de-escalation is the right thing to do.
