Have been hearing another version that the blackmail angle was never there perhaps its the store owners resorted to the blackmail….The owners blackmailed the guys that if they open the mouth then they would complain to USCiS about the status, payroll, and few workers who work in the store will get deported and that’s when these alleged students did not complain to the police and few days later the store owners asked these guys to come to compromise and after they arrived, the owners started hurling the blackmailing words at them…

Not believable. Here's why

100% the store is cheating with weights. Its been done in pretty much all desi stores. I have seen it in CA as well.

However he says that the store owner called them to discuss. How does he know about these guys Discovery? Unless they told them or blackmailed them. 

If they caught them red handed, they should have gone to the right authorities, if they had no blackmailing intentions. Like I said before, andaru bokka galle.
