If it's busy street and intersection, don't go for it.

If it's near the edge and no through route, then you can go for it .

 

Start planting trees which grows taller immediately - it gives you privacy later

Corner lots usually have little more space but in CA you have to leave 2 ft for easement for walkways oka sari mana lot lo bikka More than 88 and 125 try to opt for Cul de sac  like example  99

I personally don’t like corner lots as it will have more visibility to other houses and as above mentioned more lawn to cut and more sidewalks to clean the snow and more trees to maintain
