Which Cop leaders almost became CM in late 80s and 90s?

There are lots of rich Cops in Godari jillas and Vizag. Yet not one could become CM.

Most CMs coming from Rayalaseema, Telangana, Guntur, and Krishna. But why no CM coming from Godavari or North Andhra?

Godavari jillas are very politically active and have higher population than other jillas. Turpu Godavari results can usually predict who will win the next elections. Paschima Godavari has the wealthiest population on average.

Shocking how there hasn't been one CM yet.

Even the one from krishna contested in rayalaseema ,and the one from guntur was from palnadu which has a similar culture to greater rayalaseema.

You need loyal followers to succeed in politics, rayalaseema region had factions with loyal followers ,although nowadays there is not much difference.

There were CMs from Telangana. Did they have similar culture as Seema?

Why didn't Seema Cops or BCs get CM kurchi?

It's because of telangana quota ,if they weren't given CM seat they would riot for a seperate state again.

They don't have population or unity.

Cops are 14-15% but they have multiple sub castes under that like balija telaga are the biggest ones at around 11-12% combined .rest are ontari and some other subcastes.

Even in BC's ,most populous in andhra are probably Yadav's at around 5% at best.they also didn't have much political awareness.

But Reds and Chows are 8% and 4% of population. How do they dominate?

Both are different ,kammas consolidated all of their caste members into one using media, they have one family they put at a pedestal and everything revolves around them.

Of course this is limited to only kg districts ,it doesn't happen in rayalaseema areas.

There were a lot of reddy leaders from congress time in tg and andhra ,they weren't consolidated based on caste till 2004 when they have somewhat consolidated based on caste due to YSR.

Also in kaapus ,politics are dominated by coastal andhra telagas  ,balijas don't get many seats .
