That's not bullying. Canada has trillions of dollars worth of Crude much more worth than what US has. It has huge reserves of Gold, Diamonds, Nickel, Uranium, Iron ore, Copper , Potash. Canada has highest amount of fresh water reserves, and easy access to Arctic.

The sheer amount of resource worth is so high that entire Canadians can live like Saudi or UAE sheiks. But the British crown and American corps didn't let that happen. Even in case of Crude with activism and consequent policy changes, they don't let pipelines to move crude to the Canadian coasts and have to send it to US and sell it for cheap. It's all by design. If Tatah manages to buy Canada it's a small amount for land and, resources. Sort Manifest destiny 2.0.  

Canadian West (Alberta, Saskatchewan, eventually BC and Nova Scotia May agree to join immediately resistance will be from Ontario and Quebec.
