I don't like to go to Theatres,malls or temples. Regarding traffic, we can afford a driver over there. Can do work and calls during that period. In US people spend more than an hour in commute. In India, I find it much more calming as I can see people around me atleast. One major plus is that most of us never have to work in India. In US, we will have to work atleast for the insurance.
