విశ్లేషణ: బాలకృష్ణ మార్క్‌ మాస్‌ ఎంటర్‌టైనర్‌ కథ ఇది. అయితే దర్శకుడు బాబీ ఈ చిత్రం కోసం పాత కథాకథనాలనే నమ్ముకున్నాడు. కథలో కొత్తదనం ఏమీ లేకపోయినా చిత్రాన్ని ఆసక్తికరంగా మలచడానికి చేసిన ప్రయత్నం కనిపించింది. కేవలం బాలకృష్ణ అభిమానులను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని సన్నివేశాలు రాసుకున్నట్లుగా అనిపిస్తుంది. సినిమాలో హీరో ఎలివేషన్‌ సీన్స్‌ను పండించాడు. 

సినిమా ప్రారంభం నుంచి ఫస్ట్‌ హాఫ్‌ వరకు చిత్రాన్ని దర్శకుడు చాలా స్టయిలిష్‌గా, డిసెంట్‌ ట్రీట్‌మెంట్‌తో తెరకెక్కించాడు. ముఖ్యంగా బాలకృష్ణ గత సినిమాలకు భిన్నంగా స్టయిలిష్‌ మేకింగ్‌తో ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు. అయితే సెకండాఫ్‌లో దర్శకుడు కాస్త తడబడ్డాడు. సెకండాఫ్‌లో వచ్చే ఫ్లాష్‌బ్యాక్‌ ఎపిసోడ్‌తో పాటు కొన్నిసన్నివేశాలు కాస్త బోరింగ్‌గా అనిపిస్తాయి. యాక్షన్‌ సన్నివేశాలపై ఎక్కువ శ్రద్ధ పెట్టినట్లుగా కనిపిస్తుంది. ఎమోషన్స్‌ మిస్‌ అయిన ఫీల్‌ కలుగుతుంది. 

ఫస్ట్‌హాఫ్‌కు ధీటుగా సెకండాఫ్‌ కూడా ఉన్నట్లయితే తప్పకుండా ఈ చిత్రం రేంజ్‌ మరోలా ఉండేది. ఫ్లాష్ బ్యాక్‌ ఎపిసోడ్‌లో తాగునీరు కోసం గ్రామ ప్రజలు, క్వారీలో చిత్రహింసలు పడుతూ పనిచేయడం సీన్స్, సినిమాటిక్‌గా రాసుకున్నట్లు అనిపించడంతో సహజత్వం లోపించింది. ఇక బాలకృష్ణ పాత్రను, ఆయనను దర్శకుడు ప్రజెంట్‌ చేసిన విధానానికి మాత్రం అందరూ ఫిదా అవ్వాల్సిందే. చంబల్‌ లోయ నేపథ్యం ప్రేక్షకులకు కాస్త కొత్తదనంగా అనిపిస్తుంది. అయితే  కథపై కూడా మరింత శ్రద్ధ పెట్టి ఉంటే సినిమా ఓన్లీ బాలకృష్ణ అభిమానులకే కాకుండా అందరికి సంపూర్ణ విందుభోజనంలా ఉండేది.
