Not happening. Bulk of the RE is from Local business people, Politicians, beaurocrats. Most NRIs a lot of them are tied to US mortgages and decide to live and settle in US given a chance. 

Consultancy owners, Doctors and very high earning tech professionals will invest in India but rest are a small percentage. 

Far more investment into RE is coming in the form of FDIs.
