Saif Ali Khan stabbed 6 times by thief at his Bandra apartment

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was operated for nearly two-and-a-half hours at Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital after he received six stab injuries, following an attack by a thief. The attempted burglary took place at the Bandra residence of actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor around 3 AM. The thief is absconding, while police is currently at Khan’s home and scanning CCTV footage. Meanwhile, the actor has issued a statement and requested media and fans to “be patient”.

Saif Ali Khan gets stabbed 6 times in his Bandra apartment. 

Apparently a thief entered his home at 2:30 am and there was a scuffle in which Saif was stabbed multiple times and is now admitted to Lilavati hospital. 

According to reports he is out of danger but more news is awaited. 

Saif, with his family, lives on the second floor of a Bandra high rise apartment. 

A few questions though:

- Don't celebrities (who are also Nawabs) have personal security round the clock? 

- Aren't the plush apartments in uber rich areas sufficiently guarded by private security? 

- Isn't there digital security in these apartments or are the houses so easy to break into? 

- Don't the Police patrol these areas on a regular basis?

- After stabbing Saif 6 times, the thief could still make an easy getaway?
