dreamchaser Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 Hi friends,my colleague is in US since last 16 years ,has GC but he is not interested to buy home.He says he is able to save more money by renting and staying in apartment.just curious if anyone is in same boat still renting even after more than 15 years in US stay and what is your reason? I hate doing house works so never bought a house like your friend apt here too so apt owner takes care of everything and I don’t need to do s hit 1 Quote

Most of them own house is a emotional investment and feel safe (actually not) that they have something to hold on during critical times.
