16 years in US but no home yet

Its not straight forward answer anna. Invest the same money in stock market and you might come ahead. I am not even saying active trading, just passive ga ETF lo [Mortgage-Rent] monthly invest cheyi.

But home has emotional aspect as well which cannot be quantified, pure economic terms lo aiyte its not a very straight forward answer.

As long as you are comfortable in rental home that's fine don't think about society.

But yeah you will enjoy own home experience aaa cleaning okkati stressful

even if you have paid off your house completley , you will still pay at least 1000 to 2000 per month in taxes, insurance and HOA.
