EV cars are good for lease or buy?

it appears EV cars depreciation is far worse than GAS cars

what is this combination of lease and apr? i dont get it

i heard some formula like

every $1000 you reduced at signon cash it will reflect $30 increase in lease monthly payment 

but if that formula is true still it seems ok

If you use non toll roads, and eligible to get incentives then go for it.

Depends anna, if you are like me and keep cars for 10 years then buying it will always be better. If you like new model every 3-4 years then leasing is better.

Coming to EV's, I think only Tesla [Model S and Model X] is proven to last 10 years and still work well. Model Y was released in 2020 so not enough data for long term use. Rest of the EV's like Leaf which ppl have kept have deteriorated very badly. Maa neighbor old Leaf [8 years old i think] gives just 60 miles on full charge and is unusable car.

your LEAF example is good enough to me to consider EV as lease option
