I think you overpaid by a lot. It’s usually two bags ki 400/-

So if four of a family are traveling, max it should be 1600 and on top of it, if you tip then another 100-200.

No one demands, just on case anyone demands then just inform in the porter desk…

Go directly to counter and pay 1k per cart then they will call who ever available and give 200rs tip to him, that's what I did 8 months back.

Looks like the porters have taken advantage of the situation. If any porter approaches and demands more, ignore and head back to the porter’s counter, pay there and that’s it. In the end, you can tip a 100…

Akada multiple porter services emi levu…vunnadalla okate vendor….immigration clear ayinaka look out for porter kiosk or helpdesk and ask them and avoid any porter who approaches you….traveling with kids are easy prey for these porters so ignore who ever approaches  you and head to the counter….same at the time of return, curb side ae counter vuntadi

I used it about 10 months back and have been using it ever since the concept if porter system was introduced…infact i used to few few hundred more to the porter and instead of 4 bags, he used to say two bags at the counter and i pay only 400 at the counter and offer the other four hundred to the porter..

Very good info brother. Good to know and I think we need to educate others. It’s day robbery in India.
