andhra_jp Posted January 20 Author Report Posted January 20 Hyderabad: A 26-year-old youth from Hyderabad was reportedly shot dead by unknown assailants in Washington, UnitedStates. The deceased was identified as K Ravi Teja, a resident of #RK Puram at Green Hills Colony, Chaitanyapuri in the city. Ravi Teja went to the US in March, 2022 to pursue his Master's Degree. He died on the spot after he suffered grevious bullet injuries. Tyrannosauraus_Rex Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Man, so tragic and sad and heartless way to end a life. Cannot imagine the pain of the parents and other loved ones. While we do not know the details - this may have been a random killing - in the sense that - his race may have played zero role. Thugs see an opportunity and kill really for no other reason than for the fun of it. This was a few years ago - there was this Indian dude working night shift at a store and he will killed by robbers/thugs "AFTER" taking all the money. Unquestionably there is heightened tension around Indians too. Not wrong to be careful and avoid unnecessary altercations and in general maintain a low profile. Quote
