I had classmates who were born and raised until 12th standard in UAE...Engg ki India occharu...they always had India passport, nothing else...

Still lot of people go there for the sole purpose of earning money and Investing/retiring in India....

Desi's should start thinking about H1B in that point of view....look at it as an opportunity to make money....instead of working for cheap desi mestris who benefit from keeping you as cheap labor, aim for top paying poisitions...stay for 6 yrs approx, earn and go...anthe

Lot of other countries are found by immigrants anna, not just US...Canada, AUS, NZ, Israel, Singapore, Cuba, all countries which are part of West Indies, Caribbean  etc...poni veeti toh compare cheddama?? some of these countries citizenship rules are much simpler/easier.
