Great news for senior citizens in India

That is an interesting take and makes sense as the cost of delivering a baby is quite high in the US. If this EO goes into effect, a few things could happen

 

1) Most non-working women will go to India to deliver babies

2) Once people retire on H-1B, they will have to leave the US and go back to India 

 

Everything will change again in 4 years and none of the above will happen.

2) is already happening a little earlier than most people.

Know people in my circle. Parents switch between both daughters houses, in the gap period, in-laws come over.

In a way, parents waiting for kids to reach 21 to get GC already, then getting citizenship and leaving to retire in India. This is no way different except on paper everything is still the same plan.

I don't think the EO will stay in court. Besides, H1 uncles with kids still manage to stay in the country and age out ayyaka F1 ki transfer avutaaru. It is still happening today. If anything this will make first generation Indian kids marry Americans more. It is a good thing if interracial marriages happen. The problem arises if Indians live in a bubble and not come out of it.

i'm sure courts will redirect to passing a bill to change constitution and adi avvali ante House lo bill pass avvali (better chances), but Senate lo 2/3rd majority ravali...which is tough. So status quo lo untadi until they figure it out. Ee lopu pillalu puduthaane untaru and 2028 lo malli elections lo anything can happen. If Dem's come into power, then they can scrap this again (assuming Constitution change inka avvakapothe) and also any kid who were born in the last 4 yrs are alos included and are eligible to become citizen ani anochu.

Only way to stop desi santha not to deliver babies here is by restricting H1, F1, L1 etc etc and not letting them come to US.
