if you are from india.. answer me.. why india is not giving indian citizenship to babies who’s parents are not indian citizens?? why they give exit visa and let them go back???

Prior to 2004, India followed a more inclusive policy. Any child born in India was granted Indian citizenship, regardless of the nationality of their parents. However, after the 2004 amendment the rules became more restrictive:

• A child born in India after December 3, 2004, is considered an Indian citizen only if at least one parent is an Indian citizen at the time of birth.
• If neither parent is an Indian citizen, the child is not eligible for Indian citizenship by birth, even if they are born on Indian soil.

agree with you to some extent..

BTW why should we demand?? we are all indian citizens.. most of the spouses are also from india… then how can we demand american citizenship for our children?? what rationale?? as of now india is not giving it right?? then why should USA should do it?? its their country and they have every right not to give!
