1. Why no action on H4EAD? Why give EAD? If they are capable enough they should be able to complete

Everyone who lives in the country should have a right to work and be financially independent irrespective of their visa status. H4 spouses are also highly skilled and equally efficient. It takes guts to uproot ur career and ur life from one country and start over in a different one. H1B is a lottery based system so not everyone who got their visas is “deserving” and the same way every H4 visa holder is should not be judged just because they chose to be here on dependent visa.

Taking other people’s things away, the financial independence they deserve - seems to bring joy to soo many people that I am now thinking its becoming new normal. and this mentality says what kind of a person these people are. While this is so alarming for humans like me, I would like to say there is soo much more to life than being on H1b visa/ GC/ USC for that matter, and none of this matters if this situation makes one to wish other people’s basic rights taken away from them, no matter which country, which planet such people live on, they can never find happiness.

Im not against H4 folks working but its about being sponsored and not being sponsored. Once an i140 gets approved for an H1B they still are on visa and need to be sponsored for a job whereas their dependents gets an EAD and are eligible to work minimal jobs.

I want H4 to be at par with H1B for jobs. They need to go with the same process to get into a job with being sponsored and not holding an EAD. If an H4 individual is capable enough to get jobs without an EAD that would they are worthy and talented.

Why would someone's spouse sit at home and family lower their standard of living while other spouses get the opportunity to work? No work permit for H4 is discrimination

H4 EAD is given to someone who already has their Green Card application in progress. I140 is approved.
Stopping H4 EAD is not going to help.
Because they are anyway going to get the GC EAD eventually, and also the green card eventually.
So save your time cherry picking on the h4 ead. 🤣🤣

Anyone deserves to work as long as they are genuine.
I have seen 60 t0 70% spouses on h4ead have put across fake experience and did malpractice to get jobs via desi consultancies that is unethical also OPT students. Hence the anti h4ead. The one’s who are genuine anyone shouldn’t be having a problem as long as they have proved their mettle.
That is why i always say people you don’t act when you come across such desi consultancies and report them diligently with names and people. Don’t rant here rather take initiatives in your hand and report until no response is heard. One gets caught he will give name of 100 others eventually bubble will burst.

Because H1B has lottery system. Just having talent will not give you jobs in h1b. And why should spouse sit back at home if he/she has talent.

Answer for 1, H1B is lottery. If it was fully merit based a lot of people from this group would not have been here. Also a lot of people would not have been on H4EAD.
Answer for 2. Right to get married is a fundamental right and the right to be together is a fundamental right too.
Not very difficult concept for a functioning society. Fraud happens in everything there are regulations in place to check on that.

People here are more concerned about taking away rights from others specially when they have it already… which proves a very sadistic mentality …
Rather this thinking about what others won’t be getting which seems to bring joy to people who have it by didn’t of luck ..: why aren’t we posting about him working on serious issues that America is facing like school shooting where really lives are getting badly impacted
If this is the behavior of highly intelligent and educated people who came from India it’s a shame and it better change cause you are portraying this behavior in your homes too where the next generation will pick this up and the world will always be the same

when that eo was signed there was requirement for people to do jobs and now we have record unemployment so we want to rescind it as simple as it is ante kada,  an EO can be removed by issuing an another EO, its not like  protecting water resources or helping  land  its basically done to help the citizens get job

in general in any democracy u cannot rescind the EO given by previous  givt by issuing an another EO,  its similar case in india why 111 go is still legal and valid, but looking at greater good of people this is  evil decision which has to be removed in order to protect employment of everyday Americans.
