Vivek Ramaswamy was not offered a cabinet post. Even though he deserved it. 

They tried to satisfy him with a nominal DOGE position. Now, he is sidelined even from that position.

Apparently, the news in the media is that he is trying to contest for governor seat in Ohio. He was denied the senate position that got vacant due to JD Vance. I highly doubt if he will get governor nomination for Ohio state. That election won't be until Nov 2026. 

Currently, he is unemployed in the Trump Administration!!! 

 

Sources close to Musk confirmed to Politico that Ramaswamy’s departure had been under consideration even before his visa-related outburst. VP and cabinet position are all just rumors.. no sane person will expect this for Vivek.. 

I think there is some deal where Vivek contests for Ohio governor instead of Husted.. he was the Ohio Lt Gov and was the front runner for the governor.. but he is nominated for the senate seat.. Vivek is a high profile candidate and might win this..
