Happy B’Day Lokesh – The Biggest Massiest Comeback!

Today marks the 42nd birthday of Nara Lokesh, and it simply could not have come at a better time for this TDP scion. After having been put through intense pressure and extreme humiliation, for the last few years, Lokesh bounced back and completed what has been one of the biggest comeback in the Telugu political scene.

 

After the bad defeat from the Mangalagiri constituency in 2019, Lokesh went through a distressing period. There was this desperate attempt from YSR Congress ecosystem to label Nara Lokesh as “Pappu” and a fit for nothing guy by citing the electoral result. 

 

However, Lokesh was not taking any simple challenge despite the extreme situation that he was facing. He was determined to win the Mangalagiri constituency, which was not won by TDP in the last several decades. He stayed on the ground level in Mangalagiri, despite the defeat, and won the trust of the masses. This eventually gave him a resounding 91K+ majority win in what has been an extremely unsuccessful constituency for TDP. 

While this historic win from Mangalagiri is a cinematic comeback story in itself, Lokesh had achieved far beyond that through the Yuva Galam Yatra. 

Lokesh needed that one consolidated political campaign to shrug off the image YCP painted on him. This was exactly when Yuva Galam happened. This medal walkathon brought Lokesh closer to the masses and in turn took him into the deeper pockets of Andhra Pradesh which were lesser known to him back in the day. 

This helped Lokesh connect with the masses and eventually mould him into a mass leader. It is still a work in progress but the fact can’t be denied, considering the electoral result in Mangalagiri, where he won by 91K+ majority. These are the kind of numbers that we would associate with only true mass leaders. 

Then came the Red Book promise which proved to be the gamechanger for TDP in a way. It was a strong display of strength by Lokesh to TDP cadres saying he would certainly target every single YCP leader, government official and policemen who had targeted TDP cadres in the YCP regime. This gave TDP supporters the hope that their concerns are heard and Lokesh would avenge their hardships under Jagan’s rule which was excessively torturous on certain TDP cadres. 

But the best thing about Lokesh is that he simply isn’t a one dimensional leader. On one hand, he is progressively implementing the Red Book, and the other hand he is looking after the development index of the state by attracting the likes of Google, TCS, which are truly global giants. 

Amidst all this, he is also standing by the cadres and even helping those in medical or educational need when he’s receiving calls for help on social media. 

This multi dimensional approach is rarely seen in politicians and Lokesh has proven to be different with his body of work till now. And now that the comeback has been completed, the next big thing ahead of Lokesh will be to progress to a higher position of power as he looks destined to become the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and it is only a matter of when this would happen.

వారసత్వం చాలా మందికి ప్లస్ అవుతుంది. కానీ అదే కొంత మందికి మైనస్ అవుతుంది. తెలుగుదేశం యువనేత నారా లోకేష్‌కు వారసత్వం ఏ మాత్రం ప్లస్ కాలేదు. పైగా మైనస్ అయింది. రాజకీయాల్లోకి వస్తాడని ఆయనను. చిన్న వయసు నుంచే ట్రోల్ చేయడానికి వందల కోట్లు బడ్జెట్ పెట్టుకుని ఇతర పార్టీలు ప్రయత్నించాయి. కుర్రాడు చక్కగా స్టాన్ ఫర్డ్ లో చదువుకున్నాడు.. క్లీన్ షేవ్ తో ఉంటాడు కాబట్టి పప్పు అన్నారు. దాడులు, కబ్జాలు, స్కాములు వంటివి వద్దు రాజకీయాలు ప్రజల కోసం, కార్యకర్తల సంక్షేమం కోం అన్నారని .. ముద్దపప్పు అని ట్రోల్ చేశారు. చివరికి శరీరాకృతిని కూడా ట్రోల్ చేశారు. ఎంత ఘోరంగా నారా లోకేష్ ను టార్గెట్ చేశారంటే మరో లీడర్ అయితే మానసికంగా దెబ్బతిని .. వెనుకబడిపోయేవారు. కానీ అక్కడే తన పట్టుదల చూపారు నారా లోకేష్. 

2019లో టీడీపీకి అత్యంత గడ్డు పరిస్థితి. చంద్రబాబు వారసత్వాన్ని నారా లోకేష్ అందుకోలేకపోతున్నారని.. ఆయన ఇమేజ్ ప్రజల్లో పలుచగా ఉందని అనుకున్నారు. పదేళ్లు తిరిగే సరికి ఇప్పుడు లోకేష్ ను పప్పు అనే వారి కన్నా నిప్పు అని తెలుసుకుని గగ్గోలు పెడుతున్న వారు వందల మంది ఉన్నారు. తమను వేటాడుతున్నాడని కలుగుల్లోకి పోయి దాక్కున్న వారు ఉన్నారు. ఇప్పుడు ఆయనను ట్రోల్ చేయడానికి కూడా సాహసించలేరు. అంతగా ఇమేజ్ మార్చుకున్నారు. తనపై వందల కోట్లతో తప్పుడు ప్రచారం చేసిన వారికి తన సామర్థ్యం ఏమిటో నిరూపించారు. 

రాజకీయాలు అంటే ఖూనీలు, కబ్జాలు, స్కాములు చేసి అడ్డగోలుగా సంపాదించిన వారికి మాత్రమే కేక్ వాక్ కాదు… స్టాన్ ఫర్డ్ లో చదువుకు వచ్చిన వారికి కూడా చేతనవుతాయని నిరూపించారు. దావోస్‌లో ఆయన చొరవ చూస్తున్న పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలు భారత రాజకీయాల్లో ఇలాంటి చదువుకున్న రాజకీయ నేతల అవసరం ఉందన్న అభిప్రాయం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. ఇక్కడ సామాన్య ప్రజల్లో మాస్ లీడర్ గా గుర్తింపు పొందుతున్నారు. 

నారా లోకేష్ ఇప్పుడే నలభైల్లోకి అడుగుపెట్టారు. ఆయన తన పొలిటికల్ కెరీర్ ప్రారంభంలోనే ఉన్నారు. ఇప్పటికే జాతీయ స్థాయిలో తనదైన గుర్తింపు తెచ్చుకున్నారు. తండ్రిని అక్రమ కేసుల్లో అరెస్టు చేసినప్పుడు ఢిల్లీలో చంద్రబాబు ఇమేజ్ కాపాడేందుకు ఆయన జాతీయ మీడియాముందు గట్టిగా వాదన వినిపించారు. జాతీయ నేతలనూ చర్చించారు. కేవలం రాజకీయవేధింపుల కోసమే అరెస్టు చేశారని అందరికీ చెప్పగలిగారు. 

నారా లోకేష్‌ను టార్గెట్ చేయని రాజకీయం లేదు. చిన్న వయసులోనే ఆయన అన్నీ ఎదుర్కొన్నారు. ఇప్పటికి అసలు పరుగు ప్రారంభించారు. ఆయన రాజకీయ జీవితం ఎన్నో ఉన్నత శిఖరాలను అధిరోహించాల్సి ఉంది. హ్యాపీ బర్త్ డే నారా లోకేష్ !

Nara Lokesh turned 41 today. The Young Turk turned the attention of the entire Indian Polity towards him this June when he registered a victory with a sensational majority. Many leaders may have achieved Lokesh’s 91,413 votes majority or even more but none of them will be as special as his.
 

Lokesh faced the most malicious campaign between 2014 and 2019 to tarnish his image. He was degraded as ‘Pappu’ despite being one of the most successful ministers in all his portfolios across the country between 2014 and 2019. The result is a defeat in 2019. And from there, he walked more than 32,00 Kilometers to bring the party into power and show his real side to the Public. The 91,413 votes majority did not come in a TDP bastion or a seat where his community is decisive. It is a seat which was never won by Telugu Desam Party for 39 years straight.
 

And what lies ahead for Lokesh now? The TDP cadre today wants him to lead the party and state just like his father. For any Political leader aspiring that position, he should have political acumen and administration skills.
 

The Administrative skills we have seen during his successful tenure as the Minister for IT, Panchayati Raj and Rural development. Lokesh was leading the TDP between 2019 and 2024 even though Naidu was the face. The entire TDP ecosystem also knows that. Even the Opposition acknowledges that but to attribute the bad to Lokesh but that’s a different story.
 

To lead a party in its most darkest times facing a very hostile Government which only believed in Bulldozers and Friday Arrests is the biggest triumphs for anyone. Lokesh did that and he walked for more than 3,200 Kilometers to take the party closer to the people. The only way to stop him was to arrest Chandrababu Naidu. Troops will get scattered if there is no leader. But Lokesh stood his ground strong and lead the party in difficult times. The five years term is a testimony to his grit and more importantly, the political acumen a leader should possess.
