Direct ga stud lo ki drill cheyatame , no need of drywall anchors, those are for drywall only

past few months I was going through similar exercise, these are my findings to understand screws 

Heads, philips is the standard across USA (side note japan standards are much better than Philips but usa adopted this)

Shanks, its your choice. You want it flat or threaded or how length you want. Its all depends on your dry wall

Threads, there are two types. Fine  thread and Coarse thread. if you are working on hard wood you need fine thread or if your working on soft wood (such as plywood or pine) you need Coarse threaded.

follow this chart for lengths, its all depends on your needs, generally people say 6 and 8 are good for home needs, 10 and 12 are for beyond home needs such as deck building..etc

 

in every number you will find multiple sizes, you can notice that when you visit the home depot or Lowe's
