PM Modi was not invited to swearing of Trump. Even though Chinese president Xi got invitation. May be it’s not a big deal. Also, Mukesh Ambani was invited.

 

But Modi’s tweet was not acknowledged either. What exactly is going on? Something is cooking on MAGAs side….They are acting so petty.

That’s ok. They don’t have to invite everyone. Trump is not using twitter as he use to do it before.

i have two theories (just my thoughts, it could be wrong too)

its all about dollar and oil

- India bought oil from Russia while there were sanctions and offered payments in other than dollar currency,  though that cheap oil didn’t help common Indians but we celebrated much at that time.  Thats my first guess violating sanctions.

- India stopped oil imports from Iran in 2019 because of US sanctions, but in similar situations India bought oil from Russia  in 2022 with out worrying about sanctions and there were similar negotiations under the carpet between Iran and India to resume the oil imports as similar as of Russia but it didn’t happen yet.

my sixth sense is telling me, India is about to enter into tariff warfare

• Americans laid off and jobs were moved to offshore india. US job market is brutal right now. many americans complaining this offshore migration.
• Many companies exited india due to severe import taxes and tax terrorism 
• Musk tried importing US made cars and sell in india. But was not given exemption.

Indian republic day is tomorrow (or today in india), POTUS swearing was a week back

but anyway no one is really bothered about the invite but what was Jaishankar negotiating with USA since December 24th 2024 in USA is important, i am curious too while in india some right wing channels gave so much hype about Jaishankar visit in December and recently his front row seat in the trump is swearing in ceremony

He invited himself with ambassador. Later , they moved him back seat to accommodate more important people..
