Pre GST period kuda almost same tax(excise+vat+cess+state tax) kattetollam! Post covid, middle class people are buying car and complaining about that tax now! So nothing new here even though tax on car is high everytime (almost 45% on 15 lakhs car). Only change with gst is saving almost 0.5% to 1%  which is not people expected from gst😂

 

Problem is the uniform tax of 18% on all used cars! Earlier it was based on car type ranging from 7% to 24%! Such small things anger middle class people which our FM/ NITIAYOG doesn't care!

Parties have their own religion vote banks! BJP is not gonna lose in near future, they'll thrive on coalition governments!

Opposition in india is opportunistic and not strong  and no vision so it'll take sometime!

Car is considered a luxury item and they also congest the roads.. taxing them more is needed.. historically cars are taxed more and it is nothing new… it is an issue now bcoz more ppl are buying cars now..

yes Car should become more and more expensive in India. Indian roads, specially in cities ki cars should be restricted only emergency vehicles and public transport should be allowed.

Roads chala extend chesaaru.. in so many places.. there are a whole lot of flyovers built too.. but there is a limit to how much they can extend the infrastructure if everyone starts to use cars.. mana population ki entha chesinaa saripodu..

em extend chesinru that extension is not enough last time Hyd poyinappudu traffic ki sukkalu kanipinchinaayi  specially due to cars congestion. ee cars restrictions testhe most of traffic problems will clear.
