You know index is combination of all stocks. If stock market goes down, then index will go down as well. I agree ETF is releatively safer. But it’s not fool proof either. It’s better to diversify with few ETFs and individual stocks Quote

You need to have market awareness. You need to know if you are day trader, swing trader, position trader or investor. You need to have a process as to when do you buy and when do you sell. Quote
