There is a good trend happening among our EH1B people who have been living here for over 10+ years are now considering and relocating to Hyderabad/Bangalore.

In a way, I am trying to brainstorm the idea and from the financial aspect if someone/family working in this country for 10 plus years would have accumulated good wealth and net worth.

I am feeling excited with an idea of moving the wealth and Invest in the sources which offer recurring income and probably RETIRE from corporate and explore INDIA!

Society perspective, thinking to pursue a Free lance Teacher in Colleges & Universities.

What are the pros and cons ?

Anna bodi gadi bandwagon lo padi india super ankuna. India podhamu ani plan lo unde. Lately I am feeling  it is not correct. I dont have trust on indian machinery. Indian politicians sastham nakestharu. they take 100 rs and do 1 rs work.

Infrastructure lo india is dirty even if you compare that with srilanka or fakistan.

10 yrs ante .. assume 500k savings. That's 4.25 CR. May be another 500k in home equity/401k.

A decent sized villa in Hyd outskirts costs 4 CR. Even remote areas are costing 3 CR Plus.

Consider International Schools & expenses + a New job/Life -> Its a grind again.

If someone has properties in India, its OK. If their goal is to have a leisure life with no grind -> There is no better place than India. Just put your savings in MFs and let them grow.

Biggest challenge is kids and the disruption you cause to family with relocation.
