Hitman Posted January 31 Report Posted January 31 ..... ‘retiring’ hybrid work, claiming that email exchanges waste time: ‘For all the technology in the world, nothing is faster than the speed of human interaction,' he has said. Office lo అరుస్తు , కేకలు వేస్తాడా వీడు రోజు? Quote
nenu_meeku_telusa Posted January 31 Report Posted January 31 Yep. They should close all offices and all outsourcing, keep only one office and everyone there. That way people can have human interaction. In the last 2 years since we started going to office, I never had in person meeting. not working at dell though Quote

toranam Posted January 31 Report Posted January 31 Dell is the latest tech company to announce it’s ending its hybrid and remote work policy. Starting March 3rd, Dell employees will have to show up in person five days a week. In an email obtained by Business Insider, CEO Michael Dell writes that “all hybrid and remote team members who live near a Dell office will work in the office five days a week. We are retiring the hybrid policy effective that day.” “What we’re finding is that for all the technology in the world, nothing is faster than the speed of human interaction. A thirty second conversation can replace an email back-and-forth that goes on for hours or even days,” Dell writes. Despite this mandate, Dell also continues to sell remote work solutions, noting that remote work offers “benefits such as flexibility, reduced commute times, and cost savings for employees, while employers can access a broader talent pool, reduce overhead costs, and increase productivity.” Related Why are tech companies really heading back to the office? Technically, Dell had already required its sales, manufacturing, and lab engineers to return to office. The email cites the “new speed, energy, and passion” from those teams as a reason for implementing it company-wide globally. For previously remote workers who don’t live near an office, Dell says they can continue to work remotely. Dell is not the only company to issue return-to-office mandates in recent months. AT&T, Amazon, Stellantis, and JP Morgan have all either started or announced return-to-work policies this month. Meanwhile, President Trump also issued an executive order last week requiring all federal employees to return to office, noting that all government departments “terminate remote work arrangements.” Quote
Popular Post CherryGaru Posted January 31 Popular Post Report Posted January 31 The company is calling all employees who live roughly within an hour of a Dell office to be at their desks five days a week. The directive is due to take effect in March. Dell employees who don’t live near an office, according to BI, will still be allowed to work remotely. Team leaders at Dell will also reportedly be able to ask for exemptions to the policy for team members. ============== One hour kante dhuram lo illu tisukunte remote ok anta.. Rent your existing home and then you can rent another home 1 hours away from office and work remotely.. 🙂 ============== 4 Quote

All companies are going global and having everyone in office is just a lazy thought. If you can collaborate between different countries and timezones, how hard is it to do it within the country. Most of EU is still remote coz they can’t force employees into office just like that. Quote
